Systematics Liu, Sitong [1], Elvin, Mark [2], Drew, Bryan T [1]. Phylogenetics of Diversification of Monardella (Lamiaceae). Monardella (Lamiaceae) is a taxonomically complex genus of annual and perennial herbs that contains about 40 species. Although the distribution of Monardella is clearly centered in the California Floristic Province, the genus ranges eastward to eastern New Mexico and Colorado, north to southern Canada, and southward to the cape region of Baja California. This study presents preliminary phylogenetic relationships within the genus, and represents the first step towards a thorough taxonomic revision. Log in to add this item to your schedule
